The advantages of Dutch lessons at Koru Languages
Let’s start with a free 30-minute intake to get acquainted, assess your language level and set concrete goals for you.
I also offer a 24-hour cancellation policy – cancel in time and you don’t pay for the lesson.
Lessons take place on weekdays during office hours.
The lessons are always in person and I am told I am a patient teacher.
My aim is to assist you with practical day-to-day situations, with grammar always being an aid to your learning and not a goal in itself.
Explanations can be in Dutch and English, but if you are a native speaker of German, French or Italian, explanations can also be in your own language, as I speak these fluently.
We will use excellent textbooks for grammar and exercises, but also practical materials such as advertisements, restaurant menus, magazine and newspaper articles, brochures and novels, depending on your language level and interests.
We can then put what you have learned into practice, like going to order coffee to go or buying vegetables at the market.
At the conclusions of your lessons you will of course receive a language certificate, stating the number of tuition hours and the language level achieved.
It always gives me such satisfaction to see students use Dutch independently and thereby feel more connected with The Netherlands!

We can fit in lessons around your work and family schedule. In this way, you do not miss out on lessons or fall behind in class when you are ill, go on a family vacation, need to travel for work or have to work overtime.
